Eugenia Pietrogrande
Eugenia is an international development specialist, with experience in social entrepreneurship, rule of law, global health and gender issues. During her 10 years’ experience in international development she has coordinated projects in South Sudan, Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Guatemala, Morocco and Nepal.
She currently works as Africa Project Coordinator at the International Development Law Organization (IDLO). Previously, she worked as Junior Project Manager at AMKA Onlus, Rome, Italy, and as Global Philanthropists Circle Coordinator at the Synergos Institute, New York City,USA. Additional experience includes leading research projects for Samata Foundation, Nepal, and for the CeSPI Institute, Italy, as well as serving as an intern at the Italian Embassy in Morocco.
Eugenia holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs, The New School University, New York, and a Bachelor degree in Economics for International Development and Cooperation, at the Sapienza Università di Roma. She speaks fluently Italian, English, French, and Spanish.
In 2014 Eugenia was awarded with “Premio Pavoncella alla Creatività Femminile”, in the category “Social Committment” (Impegno Sociale).
